Additionally, it meets the new EPA requirements for the policy which takes effect April, 2010. EPA lead safety courses are authorized for purposes of certification under TSCA Section 402 for the particular discipline. This EPA RRP certification training is necessary for any contractor associated with any construction task that will or has the possibility to stir-up lead based paint. The latest EPA rule will directly impact ALL compensated renovators who operate in pre-1978 homes and child-care facilities, which includes: renovation contractors, painters, maintenance workers in multi-family housing, and other specialty trades.
